About the Award

This award recognises excellence in internal strategy. It celebrates work that aligns people with business objectives, strengthens culture, and drives meaningful engagement and behaviour change within organisations.

Judging Criteria (Please note that Strategy Area has the Highest Score Weighting)

1. Executive Summary
Overall quality, clarity, and persuasiveness of the submission. Judges will assess how effectively the internal strategy and its impact are articulated.

2. Strategy
Demonstrates a clear and insight-led approach to internal engagement. Includes understanding of employee needs, organisational challenges, and alignment with business objectives, values, and vision.

3. Innovation
Shows evidence of innovative thinking in how internal audiences are engaged. Includes new or effective approaches to communication, culture-building, or organisational alignment.

4. Creativity (Design & Communication)
Demonstrates how the strategy is translated into clear, compelling internal communication. Includes messaging, tone, and the ability to engage diverse internal audiences.

5. Experience
Illustrates how employees and stakeholders interact with the strategy. Includes accessibility, relevance, and the ability to create meaningful and consistent engagement across touchpoints.

6. Leadership
Demonstrates leadership in driving organisational alignment and culture. Includes collaboration across leadership teams, departments, and the ability to influence behaviour and mindset.

7. Impact & Results
Provides clear, measurable evidence of success. This may include engagement, participation, alignment, cultural shifts, or contribution to business performance. Base numbers must be included.
