Standard video, web, or digital experiences without a meaningful immersive or spatial component.

About the Award

This award recognises excellence in immersive experience design using augmented and virtual reality. It celebrates work that uses these technologies to enhance interaction, deepen engagement, and create memorable, meaningful brand experiences.

Judging Criteria

1. Executive Summary
Overall quality, clarity, and credibility of the submission. Judges will assess how effectively the immersive experience and its impact are articulated.

2. Strategy
Demonstrates a clear rationale for using AR or VR. Includes how the technology supports user needs, brand objectives, and the overall experience.

3. Innovation
Shows evidence of innovative use of immersive technology. Includes new or distinctive approaches to interaction, storytelling, or spatial experience.

4. Creativity (Design & Communication)
Demonstrates how the experience is designed and brought to life. Includes visual design, interaction, and the ability to communicate effectively within immersive environments.

5. Experience
Illustrates the quality of the immersive interaction. Includes usability, engagement, realism, and the ability to create meaningful and memorable experiences.

6. Leadership
Demonstrates leadership in immersive experience design. Includes collaboration across creative, technical, and strategic teams, and the ability to push boundaries responsibly.

7. Impact & Results
Provides clear, measurable evidence of success. This may include engagement, participation, brand impact, awareness, or contribution to broader business outcomes. Base numbers must be included.
