This is NOT for:
Rule-based automation, basic analytics, or applications without meaningful AI or machine learning capability.

About the Award

This award recognises excellence in the application of artificial intelligence and machine learning. It celebrates work that uses advanced data-driven technologies to solve real challenges, improve decision-making, and deliver smarter, faster, and more personalised outcomes at scale.

Judging Criteria

1. Executive Summary
Overall quality, clarity, and credibility of the submission. Judges will assess how effectively the AI solution and its impact are articulated.

2. Strategy
Demonstrates a clear rationale for using AI or machine learning. Includes the problem being addressed, objectives, and alignment with business or customer needs.

3. Innovation
Shows evidence of advanced or innovative use of AI. Includes originality, sophistication, or the application of models, techniques, or approaches that go beyond standard practice.

4. Creativity (Design & Communication)
Demonstrates how the solution is designed and presented. Includes clarity, usability, and the ability to make complex technology accessible and actionable.

5. Experience
Illustrates how the AI enhances user or customer experience. Includes personalisation, relevance, responsiveness, and overall usability.

6. Leadership
Demonstrates leadership in implementing AI responsibly and effectively. Includes governance, collaboration across teams, and the ability to scale and embed AI within the organisation.

7. Impact & Results
Provides clear, measurable evidence of success. This may include efficiency gains, optimisation, prediction accuracy, customer outcomes, or business performance. Base numbers or credible indicators must be included.
