About the Award

This award recognises innovation in how organisations create and capture value. It celebrates new or reimagined business models that drive growth, unlock new revenue streams, or create sustainable competitive advantage through structural change.

Judging Criteria

1. Executive Summary
Overall quality, clarity, and persuasiveness of the submission. Judges will assess how effectively the business model innovation and its impact are articulated.

2. Strategy
Demonstrates a clear understanding of the opportunity or challenge that led to the new model. Includes insight-led thinking and alignment between the business model and long-term strategic objectives.

3. Innovation
Shows evidence of genuine innovation in the structure of the business. Includes new or transformed revenue models, partnerships, operating models, or value propositions.

4. Creativity (Design & Communication)
Demonstrates how the business model is designed and communicated in a clear and compelling way. Includes how complex structures are simplified and positioned for internal and external stakeholders.

5. Experience
Illustrates how the new model enhances value for customers, partners, or stakeholders. Includes improvements in accessibility, convenience, relevance, or overall experience.

6. Leadership
Demonstrates leadership in driving organisational change. Includes vision, decision-making, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to implement and embed new ways of working.

7. Impact & Results
Provides clear, measurable evidence of success. This may include revenue growth, profitability, scalability, market differentiation, or long-term sustainability.
