About the Award

This award recognises innovation in how media is planned, used, and experienced. It celebrates bold thinking that reimagines how, where, and when brands connect with audiences, turning media into a powerful driver of engagement and effectiveness.

Judging Criteria

1. Executive Summary
Overall quality, clarity, and persuasiveness of the submission. Judges will assess how effectively the media innovation and its impact are articulated.

2. Strategy
Demonstrates a clear and insight-driven media strategy. Includes a strong understanding of audience behaviour, context, and the role media plays in achieving campaign or business objectives.

3. Innovation
Shows evidence of genuine innovation in the use of media. Includes new or unconventional use of channels, formats, placements, or integrations that challenge traditional media approaches.

4. Creativity (Design & Communication)
Demonstrates how media is used creatively as part of the idea. Includes the integration of media with messaging, storytelling, and execution to enhance overall impact.

5. Experience
Illustrates how audiences interact with and experience the media. Includes relevance, context, engagement, and the ability to create meaningful connections through media touchpoints.

6. Leadership
Demonstrates leadership in advancing media thinking and practice. Includes collaboration across teams, pushing boundaries, and influencing how media is used within the organisation or industry.

7. Impact & Results
Provides clear, measurable evidence of success. This may include improvements in reach, engagement, efficiency, effectiveness, or overall campaign performance.
