About the Award

This award recognises innovation in commerce and retail experiences. It celebrates work that reimagines the end-to-end customer journey bridging physical and digital touchpoints to create seamless, engaging, and meaningful buying experiences that drive both commercial and brand impact.

Judging Criteria

1. Executive Summary
Overall quality, clarity, and persuasiveness of the submission. Judges will assess how effectively the experience innovation and its impact are articulated.

2. Strategy
Demonstrates a clear understanding of customer behaviour, needs, and commerce opportunities. Includes insight-led thinking and a defined approach to improving the retail or purchase journey.

3. Innovation
Shows evidence of new or reimagined approaches to commerce and retail. Includes innovation in platforms, technology, formats, or service models that enhance how customers shop and transact.

4. Creativity (Design & Communication)
Demonstrates how the experience is designed and brought to life in an intuitive and engaging way. Includes interface design, interaction, and the role of creativity in enhancing the commerce journey.

5. Experience
Illustrates how the end-to-end journey has been improved. Includes integration across physical and digital touchpoints, ease of use, convenience, and overall customer satisfaction.

6. Leadership
Demonstrates leadership in driving commerce innovation. Includes cross-functional collaboration, organisational alignment, and the ability to implement and scale new experience models.

7. Impact & Results
Provides clear, measurable evidence of success. This may include improvements in conversion, basket size, frequency, revenue, customer engagement, or long-term value.
