Executive Summary: In this comedic epic, we were tasked with creating a soundtrack that didn’t just support the narrative, it was the narrative’s swaggering heartbeat. In true Chicken Licken fashion, the story introduced David ‘Legs of Thunder’ Mgijimi, the fastest man in the world, in a tale about pride, family, and fried chicken. The original composition needed to match this energy while still supporting the storytelling voice-over.
Our solution? A bold, rhythm-driven “Afro-Beat Serenade” that grooves with 70s-inspired synth-funk and quirky African riffs—infusing humour, charm, and pride into every beat.
